Hi I’m Linda.
When I was in my early teens helping my mum in Sunday school, working in nursery as part of my school working experience it gave me the interest being around children and an early start in my career . My enjoyment interacting with children and watching them learn and grow Knowing I ve had some input. Some are now adults coming upto asking if I remember them ,that’s when I know I ve done a good job.
I left school straight into work on YTS scheme in childcare.
My first job was working as a nanny.I spent a few years in a nursery working and training with children with special needs learning mackatom etc. I helped with children with autism , angleman syndrome and helping children with no speech.
I worked in one of the first after school clubs in the area and have seen alot of changes over the years as a playworker.

Hi I’m Katie,
I am from Leeds but I’m currently in my 3rd year at Manchester metropolitan university completing my bachelors degree in early years and childhood studies.
I have worked in various different childcare settings from the age of 16 where I started working in an after school club and holiday camps. When I first moved to Manchester for University I worked in a Nursery. Currently alongside attending university, I work as a teaching assistant across various primary schools working with different ages, including one to one work with SEND ( Special educational needs and disability) children.
This has helped me progress in my childcare profession by providing me with valuable experience working with children of all ages and needs. In July 2022, I began working at Jungle Kids. In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends.

Hi I’m Leo, i am from Leeds but I’m currently perusing an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of York, with aspirations of becoming a science teacher. I have worked in multiple child care positions, including an after school club, babysitting, and gaining valuable work experience at Brighouse school. During my A-levels, I dedicated my Tuesday tutor time to teaching Biology to younger students. Outside of academics, I trained as a British Gymnast from a young age and enjoyed helping younger children build up their confidence and develop a passion for the sport.
